Well Researched Unique Perspective Not Seen Anywhere Else.

Having been familiar with other pieces from this author/writer, I certainly was looking forward to reading his book. And, I was thoroughly impressed. Yet again he provides a very well researched and unique perspective on some of history's greatest mysteries. Providing information you wont find anywhere else. The Vimana's and Anti-Gravity technology was definitely my favorite parts to read about as I had read about them originally in the Mahabharata, to get an update on them and another perspective really helped to fill in the missing pieces. I highly recommend this book for those out there seeking answers.

Torn between giving this a 3 or a 4

Worth the read. It's short and to the point, but because of its brevity, it seemed to lack a certain level of detail that may have been helpful. This topic certainly deserves more attention. I found that by simply focusing on one isolated couple, it was difficult relating to the subjects at hand. Even though the relaying of this singular story was meant to encapsulate what many couples are going through, it seemed a bit alienating. Perhaps the mention of two more couples and their experiences would have made the text more well-rounded, more easy to relate to.
While the authors did mention that equating human sexuality to animal sexuality (specifically any variety of primate, as is en vogue) elicits discomfort, referencing our sexual urges as the "animal brain" within would perhaps be better termed "biological nature." A simple change in semantics can change the way a message is received, as is evidenced by the authors referring to "assertiveness and receptivity" rather than "dominance and submission."
Despite my mild criticisms for this first installment, there was most certainly some noteworthy information. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

Awesome!!!!!

I can't wait for the 3rd installment :) it was an awesome read. The author that wrote this is a very talented writer. I got the book and had it read within 24 hrs of getting it. Couldn't put it down.... Very impressed with how the story folded together and left me wanting for more but gave me enough to be satisfied for now anyways but not for long hope she doesn't take too long in finishing the next book and getting it out there.

Jesse Kimmell-Freeman really captures your full attention from the beginning of the book. This sequel to Bella Notte picks up right where its predecessor left off. This book will make you wish books wrote themselves because you can't stand the wait between books! :)

About the Author
Kathy Heilenman held a joint appointment in French and Italian and Foreign and English as a Second Language Education at the University of Iowa. She was co-director of the Foreign Language Acquisition, Research, and Education Program, which houses a Ph.D. in Second Language Acquisition.

Isabelle Kaplan recently retired from the Isabelle Kaplan Center for Languages and Cultures at Bennington College, VT. She was the Vermont President of the AATF Chapter, a member of the Executive Board of the VFLA, and a Project Director for ACTFL. She remains an active member in the foreign language community, consulting for ACTFL, the Department of Defense, and several colleges and universities. She is also an oral proficiency tester and trainer.

Claude Toussaint Tournier is College Lecturer Emerita of French and Italian at Northwestern University. He previously served as first-year French program coordinator and teaching assistant supervisor at Northwestern University.

the book came unwrapped and without a product key for the iLrn program. Now I have to return it right as I was about to use it for homework. It's useless to me as my online course requires the iLrn suite which this one advertises but did not come with.... I hope I can replace it with one with the code in time. =/

Clear and concise

This book is not cheap but it is worth every penny. This is a practical guide to environmental geology. Geologic processes and cycles are succinctly explained. Each photograph and diagram is utilitarian; no space is wasted on pictures of sailboats or overly cheerful hikers. From steep slope land use to forecasting volcanic activity, this book has it all. Geologic hazards and disaster preparedness is given especially thoughtful treatment. Buy it!
