What I like in this book was all the healthy and delicious ...

This book acts as a guide for a person who is beginning the ketogenic diet. I learned that this diet requires your body to adopt to a few changes. It will result in a change in the levels of the hormones glucagon and insulin. Ketogenic diet reduces appetite, lose weight, loose abdominal fat, and reduce level of blood sugar. What I like in this book was all the healthy and delicious recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and few recipes for desserts as well. It also has seven day plan that you could use to test whether or not the diet is for you. I will definitely try some of my favourite recipes I found in this book.

Dont waste your money or time on this book

The intro into this book reviews the ketogenic diet, reflects on the importance of following this diet, not overeating, etc then moves into recipes. These recipes seem relatively easy, etc but are without macro and micronutrient info and don't relate how many servings for each recipe. This makes tracking ones intake impossible on top of not learning correct meal sizes, etc. The book is poorly written and doesn't deliver what the intro states as the author's goals. Much better info exists out there by Martina Slajerova and Maria Emmerich and both offer much better teaching and directions for success and health. Eating healthy on keto takes good teaching and positive tools for success. This doesn't have any of those qualities.
